Knowledge Transfer Project Manager
Key strategic role on a global transformation program. The focus of this role is to operationalize a new target-state operating model, including the development of a detailed transition plan with logical grouping of transition scope, activities, timelines, key dates, milestones, approach and stakeholders. Accountable for facilitating a smooth transition of operational responsibilities to new teams / individual with minimal business disruption.
This is a temporary role that is scheduled to last 2 years.

Review and update documentation : Review existing documentation or develop missing documentation
Conduct KT sessions : Conduct KT session, collect Critical Knowledge (Day to Day, Systems & Technical, Project, etc.), and feedback through KT forms. Capture KT sessions audios through appropriate tools for later playback. Upload the audios, feedback and KT ratings in a KM tool. Evaluate and report knowledge acquisition quality through Reverse KT (RKT). Confirm KT completion based on evaluation scores, and documentation
Manage issues: Collect and develop open issue log by role and FTE
Conduct Forward and Reverse Shadow: Prepare a Forward Shadow/Reverse Shadow tracker to track progress. Prepare and execute a handover checklist (cut over documentation)
Evaluate performance: Evaluate performance of target resources by measuring quality levels against agreed SLAs
Execute post transition activities: Provide post transition assistance to FTEs (e.g., rebadging), release incumbent teams and decommission tools. Evaluate performance. Confirm stabilization criteria. Identify and implement Service Improvement plans. Measure quality levels against agreed SLAs. Identify gaps and take corrective actions. Identify service delivery gaps and conduct activities to close gaps (if any).
Govern Transition: Coordinate to ensure deliverables are completed and transition timelines are met. Track transition progress by creating relevant trackers. Remove roadblocks and support in resolving issues. Track and mitigate risks
Key deliverables include: Adequate overlap in services performed by incumbent and new teams to mitigate risk and ensure sufficient testing cycles establishing acceptance criteria for each phase of transition. Processes and service levels and tools are documented to ensure all existing activities / services continue to be delivered and standardized. Information captured is stored in a knowledge repository for future reference and continuous improvement. Roles and responsibilities of existing and new teams are well understood and agreed. Daily/Weekly/Monthly status reports. Executive dashboard Risk/Issue tracker. Transition tracker including KT, FS/RS and status report.
Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
This position requires a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of project management concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
