Senior Analyst will support initiatives in the Risk Management department by identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risk related information.

Will be expected to assess risk on the manufacturing areas of the business, develop underwriting data and insurance marketing submissions for insurance policy renewals.

  • Assist in negotiation of policy terms and conditions.
  • Perform corporate insurance accounting. Monitor, track, and approve monthly invoice payments.
  • Use data analysis to prepare risk management reports regarding trends.
  • Analyze various errors generated for specific chargebacks and reconcile after research and resolution of issues.
  • Manage surety program including processing bid, performance and payment bonds, Work in Progress (WIP) reporting, and facilitating overall corporate compliance.
  • Review and evaluate insurance policies.
  • Make recommendations regarding adjusting and settling of claims.
  • Prepare risk management financial reports ensuring expenses do not exceed budgeted allocations.
  • Analyze and report on loss trends with monthly reports and specific requests.
  • Conduct risk assessments involving analyzing risks while identifying and describing risks affecting the company.
  • Determine solutions for identified risks with appropriate risk control.
  • Apply knowledge of risk management principles to develop timely analytical reports that include tables, graphs, figures, and written interpretation of findings.
  • Assist in analyzing and reporting data to management.
  • Assist department by helping identify, develop and carry out projects and initiatives.
  • Process certificates of Insurance.
  • Administer wrap-up reviews and costs.
Required Skills:

  • Worker's Compensation laws and benefits.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels of responsibility within the organization.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed as well as organizational skills.
  • Financial analysis skills.
Required Experience

  • 4-year degree plus risk management certification preferred. Master's degree a plus.
  • Minimum experience required: Four (4) or more years of corporate risk management experience with increasing responsibility or a similar background in insurance brokerage operation with at least two (2) years of direct corporate risk management experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products as well as database applications.
