job summary:
Randstad is a world leader in the job placement and HR solutions space. We are currently partnering with an industry leader in need of a Inside Sales / Customer Account Representative for a position in the fast growing market of Columbus, OH!

In this role, the Inside Sales Representative will specialize in outbound calling and e-mailing, helping generate leads and close sales! The Sales Representative will be contacting target decision makers, and current customers to promote additional IT solutions and offerings.

responsibilities:
  • Contact target customers and directly engage the key decision makers to introduce the Client to the additional support capabilities
  • Determine if prospect has any near term IT infrastructure or IT management requirements.
  • Explains products and services while promoting advantages of the services
  • Helps customer determine the best solution for their needs
  • Answers basic technical questions about the company products
  • Provides pricing and proposals
  • Understands if customer has existing re-seller relationships or how they would procure the solutions being sold
  • Leverage data sources provided by internal sources as well as being proactive in uncovering contacts from external sources
  • Coordinates with appropriate resellers and / or Client field sales teams on the opportunity
  • Generates, updates and tracks CRM opportunities, whether originated or assigned
 
qualifications:
  • At least one year experience in outbound calling, customer-focused or direct selling position
  • Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office product suite
  • Demonstrated success with customer support/customer service with a preference in outbound calling or direct selling experience
  • Proven performance in achieving assigned sales quota
  • Demonstrated highly motivated self-starter who can work well in a team setting or independently handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure technology, including software, hardware, and/or networking - A HUGE PLUS as these are the offerings being sold
