Compliance Analyst

job summary:
The individual in this role provides tactical execution of a variety of tasks and processes related to CPE and CPA Licensing compliance. This role also provides first level oversight and management of the work performed by the offshore vendor, including quality review and resolution of issues. The right candidate will have strong organizational, analytical and technical skills and be able to work productively in an environment with evolving deadlines and priorities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review work of offshore vendor for quality, accuracy and completeness and act as first level escalation for issues and questions arising from the work being performed by that team.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the vendor as needed, researching solutions and resolution to problems encountered
  • Execute scheduled transactions and processes that cannot be completed by the offshore vendor (for example, due to complexity) and draft, schedule and/or send daily/monthly emails & notices
  • Assist with management of email boxes and correspondence including the timely generation of responses to questions from partners and staff
  • Provide first level escalation for resolution of matters by researching questions, developing responses for partners and staff
  • Execute individual compliance monitoring and follow up through proactive outreach to partners and staff, working with them on their CPE and CPA Licensing issues and questions
  • Assist with compilation of documentation for state audit requests for CPAs
  • Prepare data needed for compliance report generation and research requests
  • Complete special projects?
Requirements

  • Ability to balance and manage multiple deliverables with variable timelines.
  • Ability to work under tight timeframes.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate/advanced).
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, orally and in writing.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
