Part-Time Bookkeeper

job summary:
Our Southbury client is in need of a part-time Bookkeeper! This position is starting out on a temporary basis and has the opportunity to become permanent. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent professional oral/written communication skills, the ability to multi-task, possess a strong attention to detail and is highly proficient in Quickbooks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and process accounts payable and receivable. Including invoicing and collecting payments from clients.
  • Prepare checks, payments and bank deposits.
  • Process payroll.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheet and budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of Quickbooks and MS Excel.
