Financial Services Associate

job summary:
We have a great client in Northern Virginia that needs to add an Associate to their team. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to join the organization permanently. Please review the details below and if you are qualified and interested in this position, apply today! This is NOT a sales role.

Location - Fairfax, VA or Old Town Alexandria (can sit in either location)

What will you be doing?

  • You'll support a busy Director, Manager and Analyst that are working daily with investors and financial services providers by managing the client service process.
  • Work daily in Excel, creating and updating spreadsheets
  • Research as needed by the team
  • Act as a liaison or project manager for the team, also partnering with other departments and clients on deadline focused items
  • Act as a point of contact for vendors, clients and third-party administrators
  • Attend meetings with the team
What Qualifications should you have?

  • 1+ years working in the financial services industry (this can include banking, insurance, broker/dealer, investment advisor)
  • Outstanding communication skills both in-person and over the phone, able to convey confidence and professionalism
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office with an emphasis on Excel
