Investment Operations Analyst

job summary:
Investment Operations Analyst

Roles/Responsibilities

1.) Serve as primary reviewer of all incoming fund and field correspondence to determine action required.

2.) Work with fund managers to fulfill offering document requests based on client eligibility, tax status, etc. making it necessary to:

- Track offering document requirements by fund

- Understand fund eligibility nuances, including whether the bank/fund prohibits certain investor types

- Work with funds/funds' counsel to ensure our "offering kits" remain current

3.) Review subscription documents for completion

4.) Assist with monthly/quarterly reconciliation process for platform hedge and private equity funds

5.) Own maintenance of all internal forms

6.) Assist in managing the internal alternative product site

7.) Send mass communications to field for recurring and one-time projects (e.g., FINRA 5130/31 certifications, LPA amendments, etc.) and be able to respond to basic inquiries related to these

8.) Ensure execution/collection of all fund agreement/side letters, CIP reliance letters, including handling annual CIP certification process

9.) Assist in collecting/tracking platform documentation including capital call notices, distributions, K-1s, etc.

10.) Complete special projects, as assigned

Requirements

- BS or Associates degree

- 2-5 years financial services experience

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Office

- Excellent organizational/follow-up skills

- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities

- Aptitude, interest & willingness to gain knowledge regarding these technical products

Preferred

- Broker/dealer product or operations experience

- Reconciliation/risk management skills
