Human Resources Business Partner

job summary:
Human Resources Business Partner

- Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience

- Provide leadership coaching to build essential capabilities and address and resolve employee issues

- Work with managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues ensuring a balance in representing all parties' interests

- Assess business unit's human resources training needs and conduct 1:1 and/or group training sessions as appropriate

- Work with business groups to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives within the client group

- Provide ongoing support to the leadership team on human resources related matters, policies and procedures

- Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling

required skills

- Experience providing HR support to fast paced, highly technical populations, including software engineers and scientists.

- Experience as a strong advisor who is continually engaged deeply in the business to understand the current and future talent needs and be able to provide insight\input on the health of the organization. Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and willingness to be vocally self-critical

- Proven effective consulting skills, with an ability to influence in all directions

- Known for high judgment, bias for action, and demonstrated ability to deliver results

- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality written document and report preparation

- Experience partnering across multiple sites, time zones, countries, and HR disciplines

- Agile, curious, and always learning

- About 8 years of experience. HR degrees and certificates (PHR) are preferred
