Internal Auditor

job summary:
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • J SOX - Assist process owners to prepare/update checklist and evaluate the appropriateness of the controls based on the control objective and model control provided by YMC. Prepare flowcharts and narrative if necessary. Ensure that documentation is kept accurate.
  • J-SOX - Write/revise a test plan based on the control descriptions provided by process owners.
  • J SOX - Request/collect information from process owners, perform test of controls based on a test plan, confirm that the controls are properly in place and document the test.
  • J-SOX - If design/operating deficiency is noted, discuss with process owners immediately and coordinate with them for the remediation to ensure that the remediation/retest is completed timely.
  • J-Sox - Roll-forward the test results by confirming controls with process owners.
  • J SOX - Assist external auditors for their annual audit.
  • Operational Audit - Based on an Audit Plan, perform an operational audit project. This includes interviews of related personnel, data analysis, examination of evidence and documentation of the conclusions.
  • Operational Audit - Confirm audit findings of the assigned area with auditees to ensure the accuracy of understanding the issues and summarize the findings for an audit report.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA/CIA preferred
  • At least 3 years of audit experience
  • Experience in implementing J Sox and/or U.S. Sox
  • Proficient computer skills and in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent organizational skills to complete multiple tasks in a timely manner

qualifications:
Requirements:
