  • This is a contract role expected to last 12 months.
Human Resources Assistant - Job Duties:

  • Calculating Pension Requests
  • Maintain the human resource records of an organization?s employees. Responsible for maintaining personnel documents as well as performing background checks, along with other employee-related activities.
  • Process, verify and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations and classifications.
  • Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
  • Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earning and supervisory reports on performance.
  • Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits and other pertinent information.
  • Request information from law enforcement officials, previous employers and other references to determine applicants? employment acceptability.
Job Duties:

  • ERISA knowledge is preferred
  • Pension experience is required
  • Degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel required (Batches. V-lookups, Pivot Tables)
  • Able to work with large groups of data
  • PeopleSoft and SharePoint experience would be nice
  • Microsoft Access would be nice
  • 2-4 years' experience
  • Math background preferred
  • Customer service experience
Compensation: $17.00-$19.00/hr
