  • This is a contract role expected to last 3 months.
Budget Senior Specialist - Job Duties:

  • Oversees and participates in complex budget projects: budgeting, forecasting, month-end, and reporting to actuals.
  • Maintains records of expenses, inventories and budget balances.
  • Utilizes independent judgment and discretion to prepare operating budgets based on actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports and other factors.
  • Executes responsibilities by working directly with key players to produce accurate and timely - financial data in clear and simple reports to meet the business need.
  • Assists in the installation of budgetary control systems: business processes, database structures and reporting packages to optimize deliverables.
  • Actively participates in fostering a healthy team environment and continuous improvement.
  • Proactively plans to financial calendar, provides routine updates to the Operations Director on related tasks.
  • Prioritize activities and appropriately escalate known issues.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office-emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint; experience with databases preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields along with three to five years' experience is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Prior Business Analyst experience preferred
