HR Coordinator

job summary:
Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the HR Team in all related functions such as but not limited to: payroll, benefits, safety, HRIS and data entry as well as maintaining all personnel files updated.
  • Maintain accurate employee rosters and schedules in assigned systems and programs.
  • Support Payroll with tracking attendance, editing punches, updating all personnel information in designated system and hard-copy files, entering payroll deductions and entering all new hire and terminations.
  • Create and maintain employee files and other HR related records such as but not limited to: workers compensation, benefits, medical, etc.
  • Assist in responding to HR specific mail such as but not limited to: unemployment claims, verifications, garnishments as well as creating verification of employment letters.
  • Support Benefits with collecting all enrollment forms, entering in assigned systems and creating packets as needed for new hire orientations.
Requirements

  • A.A. or B.S. in Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology or related field strongly preferred
  • 2+ years' experience in an administrative or coordinator role in Human Resources or related field required
  • Bi-lingual Required (Spanish and or Vietnamese)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a can-do-attitude required
