Grant Associates: Human Resources Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

You will support all areas of human resources from benefits to recruiting and everything in between. You also must do this with a positive disposition; even with the most challenging HR situations. Salary $75 - 80K

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organizes, understands and maintains compliance of human resource policies and procedures and recommends improvements.
  • Is creative in maintaining professional and technical knowledge in the human resource and benefit area.
  • Supervises the corporate recruiter and manages recruiting strategy.
  • Supports best practices to provide a high performing culture.
  • Projects a positive company culture others within the organization and externally.
  • Ensures compliance with employment related laws and regulations (ex.: EEOC, FMLA, ADA)
  • Maintains up-to-date job descriptions for the company.
  • Contributes to team effort in projects and morale
  • Supports the accuracy in human resource recordkeeping.
  • Provides support to managers with evaluation and discipline issues and ensures deadlines are met.
  • Assists with employee on-boarding and orientation as needed.
  • Assists with administration of Grant Associates' employee benefit programs.
  • Manages adds/deletes/changes to benefit programs and adjusts payroll deductions accordingly.
  • Manages ADP portal for benefit and HR policy compliance.
  • Resolves internal and external issues professionally and completely.
  • Collaborates with other managers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
WORK AND EDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field with at least three years of professional experience, including a minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in environments with multiple stakeholders, frequent change, and diverse objectives.
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to gather and synthesize information from a variety of people and sources and make decisions and/or recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advance knowledge with Excel a plus (pivot-tables and dashboards for reporting, etc.)
  • Use of ADP WFN with high proficiency preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Co-supervise recruiting manager, and ancillary support staff such as custodian, receptionist and security.
