Technical Recruiter

job summary:
A downtown Seattle company is looking for a Technical Recruiter to join their team to work on a long term project. This company is growing rapidly and would be a great opportunity for the right person!

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites.
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications and seeking clarification from Sr. Recruiter and hiring managers.
  • Effectively evaluate candidates using applicant screening tools and by conducting phone and in person interviews. .
  • Under guidance from the Senior Recruiter, develop effective working relationships with hiring managers and other staff to ensure clear communication regarding recruiting efforts.
  • Manage candidate scheduling process including coordinating complicated interview schedule coordinating candidate travel, distributing schedules to the interview team, and handling interview day logistics (greeting candidates and escorting them to interviews.
  • Conduct candidate references and background checks.
  • Ensure that established recruiting processes and best practices are consistently followed.
  • Assist with other HR duties as needed
Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of proven successful recruiting experience either in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Experience working with modern ATS .
  • Experience must include recruiting for technical positions (sciences, technology, engineering, or other).
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Life Sciences, or related field required.
  • Possess a high sense of urgency and good judgement.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately.
  • Strong business acumen along with highly effective written and verbal communication skills is required.
  • Enthusiasm, passion for working with people, and an internal drive to execute on goals and deliverables.
  • High degree of professionalism, personal integrity, a commitment to achieve personal and team success.
  • Excellent follow up skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work in a fast paced and demanding environment and a strong desire to learn and excel in the Recruiting field.
