Payment Operations Associate

job summary:
You will be assisting with monthly content and distribution partner payments, helping to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our contractual third party obligations.

You will become an expert in partner payments, partnership deals, and compliance for both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Support processing of monthly partner subscriber reports and related payments

- Update partner payment rates and terms, as needed

- Research and resolve partner payment and/or reporting inquires timely

- Identify improvements within our existing processes and work cross functionally to help improve our payment processing capabilities

- Assist in designing robust controls and supporting operations to mitigate payment and compliance risks

- Provide on-going performance reporting and metrics

Mandatory

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Operations, or equivalent practical experience in another quantitative field

- 2+ years of relevant work experience

- Excellent and professional communication skills

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

- Experience and comfort dealing with large data sets

- Strong project and process management experience

- Advanced Google sheets / Excel skills

Desired

- Knowledge of partner payments operations

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex escalations in a timely and efficient manner

- Experience and a proven track record of process improvement and/or Six Sigma
