Human Resources Coordinator

job summary:
SUMMARY:

A national organization is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for a long-term contract basis. The role is essential to the success of the department by maintaining interview schedules, assist with new employee onboarding, recruiting and ATS management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Human Resources Coordinator will assist with the following duties:

  • Utilized internal ATS and job boards to help department source and identify candidates for open roles
  • Update human resources calendars with interviews and act as the face of the department for incoming applicants
  • Handle employee onboarding and orientation, traveling to local offices as needed
  • Work with union and non-union employees, labor relations and collective bargaining agreements
QUALIFICATIONS:

The Human Resources Coordinator will have:

  • A Bachelors Degree
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar function
  • Knowledge of an Applicant Tracking System, such as Taleo
  • Ability to utilize job boards, such as Linked In and Indeed, to source and identify candidates using Boolean logic and search strings
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

Located in the Downtown Boston area, this office is a five minute walk to South Station, making it accessible through commuter trains, T and bus lines. This role pays $20-25/hr, depending on experience, and offers invaluable learning opportunities.
