Project Coordinator

job summary:
Our team consists of program managers who lead complex, multidisciplinary projects, ushering projects through the entire lifecycle - managing schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's up to these program managers to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines. Overall Responsibilities: - Assist program managers in the development of various outreach programs, which includes coordination of event logistics, scheduling, preparing documentation, tracking, and reporting - Securing and booking a suitable venue or location for events/workshops - Coordinating venue management, caterers, stand designers, collateral, contractors and equipment hire - Partnering with our clients to coordinate details of events - Communicate with external and internal guests on outreach programs



Mandatory Skills

Bachelor's degree in any field - Minimum 3 years experience as event coordinator - Strong organizational and project management skills; attention to detail - Familiarity with Google products (e.g., gmail, calendar, spreadsheets, docs) - Autonomy and responsiveness; ability to take initiative - Ability to prioritize and multitask, and to positively contribute in a fast-paced and changing work environment - Experience working with and influencing senior engineers/stakeholders - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; sense of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy - Enthusiasm, team spirit and exceptional customer service focus

This position can sit in either Mountain View or San Francisco - 1 day a week the candidate will sit in the opposing location.

Example- If your primary location is Mountain View then you would be there 4 days a week and then go to the San Francisco office one day a week
