Marketing Specialist

job summary:
In this role, you will work on key brand initiatives such as market research, acceptance mark deployment, influencer marketing, partner co-marketing and also support critical analytics workstreams.

You will work closely, not only with our merchant partners, but with creative agencies, production and cross-functional teams such as Business Development, Operations, Product and Legal.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will also work with our web development team to maintain and improve update assets, localize content and manage a web productional calendar across multiple locales.

Play a pivotal role in supporting the global marketing team through business analysis and development. Prepare presentations and clearly communicate findings from initiatives to senior management and to the broader organization.

Lead independent initiatives and project manage analysis across all of Google's functions and regions. Ensure effective prioritization and collaboration.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with internal and external partners to co-market both online and offline with a 360 approach.

- Manage influencer marketing work streams, lead market research initiatives and support campaign tracking, optimization and analysis.

- Manage design agency and partner contacts to create collateral and run marketing executions to support campaigns.

- Execute a high-volume, high-quality workload for high-profile brands in a fast-paced, dynamic and creative environment.

- Facilitate production calls to plan and prioritize requests and adjust course, as business requires and suggest operational and workflow improvements to constantly improve in-house production process.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory -

Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence. Team player.

- Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills and impeccable business judgment.

- Experience in planning and executing multiple marketing programs including budget management and approvals

- Resourceful problem-solver who quickly gathers information and is comfortable with new or proprietary technologies and concepts.

-Ability to thrive and meet aggressive goals and timelines in a fast-paced high-volume, and ever-changing environment.

-Must be a results-oriented and highly motivated self-starter who can work independently to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

-Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills and impeccable business judgment.

- Excellent organizational skills and a very strong attention for detail.

- 3+ years experience in consumer marketing role

- BA/BS degree preferred

Desired

- Experience and interest in managing partner relationship to balance user, product and partner needs.

- Understanding of web/email marketing concepts, metrics, tools, technology, KPIs and industry best practices, such as deliverability and sender reputation.

- Familiarity with SQL and data visualization, pulling data from relational databases, creating databases, and working with other statistical analysis and data mining software a plus.
