SENIOR WEALTH PLANNER

Capital Management firm is currently seeking a Senior Wealth Planner to work directly with current and prospective clients. The individual must currently demonstrate wealth planning expertise in one or more areas of estate planning, income tax planning, asset protection techniques, retirement planning, cash flow analysis, insurance planning, and income tax efficiency. The Senior Wealth Planner will have the ability to grow through exposure to high net worth clients with sophisticated planning needs and by working with the existing Wealth Planning team to design and implement financial planning strategies.

About the company: A growing, fee-only Registered Investment Advisor ("RIA") serving as a multi-family office for high net worth and institutional clients. The distinct Advisory, Research, and Planning departments each consist of credentialed specialists and advise clients in the areas of investments and financial planning. Client currently advises on approximately $800M assets under discretionary management for approximately 300 families and has been experiencing significant organizational growth.

Responsibilities:

- Present directly to prospects and clients to discuss various wealth planning topics

- Identify client issues, then design and implement strategies to address income tax, estate planning, retirement, asset protection, and other planning needs for high net worth clients

- Primary contact for client service while providing immediate solutions or coordinating with other departments to ensure that clients' requests are met

- Work directly with the clients outside advisors, such as attorneys, CPAs, and insurance brokers in order to implement wealth planning strategies

- Oversee and participate in aspects of custodial account opening, titling of assets and beneficiary designations, tax efficiency of money movement, and to proactively planning issues on behalf of clients

- Conduct research on client specific solutions and prepare a memorandum for the client outlining the issue and potential solutions

- Author newsletters and white papers, and participate in workshops and public speaking engagements to educate clients and market the wealth planning capabilities of the firm

- Serve on the planning committee in order to improve the firm's planning process and to expand the firm's competency on various planning topics

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree (JD with LLM in taxation preferred) or CPA license required

- Minimum 2 years experience in Law Firm, Accounting Firm, or Wealth Management Firm; specifically focused on areas of estate planning, personal income tax planning, asset protection, and/or retirement planning

- Strong detail orientation and highly self-motivated

- Ability to manage multiple clients with competing priorities in a fast paced, and team focused environment

- Demonstrate the ability to be a team player while performing duties with minimal oversight

- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM
