Bilingual Legal Assistant

job summary:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently and idiomatically.

You will be working with legal, product leads, communications and policy stakeholders to process requests to remove content from products.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, reviewing and responding to a large volume of legal removal requests with high attention to detail and using good judgment and discretion.

Your focus will be primarily on responding to legal requests, summarizing cases and making decisions regarding removals using process flow charts to guide decision making, as well as escalating challenging cases to the team lead.

Overall Responsibilities:

Respond to high volume consumer inquiries and legal complaints;

Help with general case management administration and organization of key documents;

Assist with investigation and collection of relevant materials to defend claims; Coordinate with external and internal legal counsel and vendors;

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

Respond to high volume consumer inquiries and legal complaints;

Assist with investigation and collection of relevant materials to defend claims;

Coordinate with external and internal legal counsel and vendors;

Required Skills:

BA/BS Degree or equivalent practical experience;

Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism and collegiality.

Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects concurrently.

Ability to perform under deadline pressure.
