Digital Media Specialist

job summary:
Digital Assets Manager - Wilmington, DE

  • This is a contract role expected to last 12 months.
Digital Assets Manager - Job Duties:

  • Coordinate the delivery and archiving of digital assets for promotions, advertisements, films, packaging, informative and instructional materials
  • Download existing assets, repurpose existing assets, or create new assets
  • Ensure that all downloaded, repurposed or created assets match all requirements ¬- color space, size, resolution, format, etc.
  • Collaborate with enterprise brand group (and other internal constituencies) to ensure that assets conform to all applicable brand guidelines.
  • Add metadata to assets and file in appropriate server(s)
  • Maintain the asset request database in support of accurate fulfillment and reporting
  • Adhere to established processes for compliance and risk avoidance
  • Maintain an awareness of technological advances in the field, and be able to identify applicable uses for same
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of work under tight deadlines
  • Maintain an awareness of visual and branding trends within the agency
  • Assist in training and guiding the assets staff and/or contractors as needed
  • Participate and assist in providing assets education as needed
  • Act as partner, maintaining solid relationships with clients and others in the agency
Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years applicable experience in either graphinc design or asset management
  • Software proficiency in Adobe CS4 Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), MS Office including Word and PowerPoint, and QuarkXPress
  • Working knowledge of design and production for advertising.
Compensation: $25.00-$28.00/hr
