JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Senior Commercial Analyst role is to forecast, analyze, and report on Sales and Margin while optimizing profits through key customer pricings.

Essential Functions

  1. Partner with the Sales Team to forecast and analyze volume, revenue, and margin
  2. Monitor, report, and drive Commercial KPIs
  3. Preparation and consolidation of revenue and margin reporting.
  4. Analyze sales performance, margin management, and mix factors while ensuring data integrity
  5. Conduct price, cost and results analyses and market, customer and competition developments and deriving necessary measures, and develop lines of argumentation to support sales.
  6. Develop customer P&L and reporting tools; refine customer/item level profitability reporting
  7. Complete price requests for Key Customers or Diamond Opportunities.
  8. Stimulate continuous standardization and optimization of processes and organizational structures and implement corresponding measures in consultation with the Commercial Controller.
  9. Ensure an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces.
  10. Implement and ensure efficient and effective processes in the company's IT systems and their documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Master's in Business Administration
  2. 2+ years' experience working for production/manufacturing company
  3. Experience with Sales Analytics and/or Pricing
