Business Project Senior Analyst

job summary:
Business Project Analyst - Bloomfield, CT

  • This is a contract role expected to last 5 months.
Business Project Analyst - Job Duties:

  • This role will assess, plan, monitor, evaluate and report on activities associated with existing and new pharmacy Networks as well as any other network offerings in development, or being established in the future.
  • Activities include resolving claim processing issues, coordinating claim remediation, customer service issues and coordinating provider relation issues with our external PBM vendor.
  • Participates in and/or facilitates the design, development, and implementation of new operational controls, performance metrics, information management systems, and automated processes.
  • Compiles and analyzes results of services for identification of improvement opportunities.
  • Develops, produces, gathers and improves executive and line of business scorecards.
  • Develop and provide services benchmarking and industry comparative analysis support.
  • Provides measurement and cost savings support (development, reporting, validation and improvement) for service management.
  • Develop standard reporting associated with New rate management tool
  • Develop and populate operational scorecards across operations
  • Determine process lag time to identify improvement opportunities
  • Evaluate changes in rates against utilization to make business recommendations
  • Compare fee schedules and rate files
Job Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of Pharmacy experience required
  • Argus claim adjudication system experience required
  • Familiarity with pharmacy industry (PBM), concepts and terminology highly preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
Compensation: $22.00-$27.74/hr
