job summary:
Payroll Coordinator - Portland, Oregon

  • This is a contract role expected to last 1 year months.
Payroll Coordinator - Job Duties:

  • Coordinate with and support Payroll Operations by answering inquiries from employees, HR partners, and Managers pertaining to anything on the paycheck or W-2. Processing employee verifications. Monitor and Manage the Payroll Group mailbox, RightFax. Coordinate and send garnishments and child support notices for ADP. Administer Bank of America and iPay requests.
  • Responsible for coordinating and processing all federal and state W-4 information received by the Payroll Shared Service Team. Also responsible for processing any Direct Deposit change requests. Creating and sending Wire Requests, handling the mail, and lock box deposits.
  • Identify process improvement or automation opportunities by reviewing process with end users, documenting the as-is and to-be processes. Implement changes in order to save time or costs to the business and/or improve data integrity.
Job Requirements:

  • HS Diploma
  • Associates degree is preferred (business)
  • Working Excel knowledge
