  • This is a contract role expected to last 3 months.
Senior Business Analyst - Job Duties:

  • Responsible for executing a variety of business development, analytical, and operational tasks. Support economic evaluations and analysis of contracted and potential products to ensure ongoing economic viability and drive strategic business planning decisions.
  • Manage operational tasks including freight payments, product destruction, and 3rd party reimbursements. Gather competitor market intelligence to understand competitor portfolio and market growth.
  • Provide routine and ad-hoc reporting using PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce.com. Also responsible for administrative tasks related to business operations.
Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years financial analysis or operational related fields
  • 2+ years experience working in business analysis, sensitivity modeling, variance analysis, scenario analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel functions including pivots and VLOOKUPS)
  • Experience with creating presentations for all leadership levels

responsibilities:
Responsibilities:

- Analyze and explore opportunities for NorthStar to expand generic product portfolio through the use of economic models, market research, and analysis of litigation status related to products

- Manage collection and analysis of stock, financial, and other data for publicly traded suppliers

- Track and execute international and domestic product freight payments, coordinate with freight providers

- Analyze and improve NorthStar product destruction process and costs, specifically analyzing opportunities to lower destruction related reimbursements

- Track sales and market share related to new NorthStar products

- Monitor inventory dates and update internal records using a CRM tool

- Manage and improve 3rd party reimbursements/inquiries including managing communication and processes involving various internal and external groups

- Monitoring and communication of market conditions including drug shortages and FDA actions

- Additional responsibilities related to expansion of business with strategic customers

- Responsible for various administrative activities to support department needs

- Project management support for account opportunities and activities

- Coordinate and prepare PowerPoint presentations for quarterly updates

- Must be detail oriented and able to deliver high quality work product

Education

BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.
