HR Administrator

job summary:
One of the top companies to work for in the Bay Area, our employee owned Construction and Development company is seeking a HR Administrator for the Oakland office. This will be part of a team of three working directly under the Regional HR Manager for Northern California. If you are detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and have a passion and interest in Human Resources, this could be the perfect opportunity to launch your career!

responsibilities:
  • Entering employee and other data into Workday
  • Ordering equipment for new hires
  • Coordinating and supporting new hire orientation
  • Posting open jobs in Workday, coordinating interviews
  • Communicating with various assigned employee groups, acting as the liaison between employee groups and Human Resources
 
qualifications:
About you: detail-oriented, strong communicator, not afraid to ask questions, prompt with follow up, accurate, enjoy working with other people

  • 2+ years experience in an Administrative/Project Management role
  • Experience with Workday is a plus, prior experience working with an HRIS system is highly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required
