Responsibilities include:

  • financial statement issuance
  • oversight of all accounting operations
  • acting as key stakeholder in the budgeting and cost control processes
  • maintaining a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
  • coordinates monthly closing process
  • maintaining strong internal controls
  • compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • responsible for coordination of the annual financial statement audit
  • responsible for coordination with outside tax accountants for the timely completion of tax returns and quarterly estimated taxes
  • responsible for the maintenance of accurate inventory costing system
