This is a Direct Hire Staff Accountant position with a dynamic, fast growing company north of Boston. The Accountant will assist with timely and accurate accounting, reporting and projects. This position will also support operational accounting functions (i.e. accounts payable and receivable), process payroll and offer improvements on the policies and procedures..

responsibilities:
This position will provide accounting support to the field operations team. The position will

  • Responsible for assisting in the timely and accurate preparation of weekly and monthly accounting and financial reporting for all entities
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist with maintaining the general ledger
  • Assist with month end close process and financial statements
  • Process payroll
  • Provides analytical support and complete financial projects
 
qualifications:
The Ideal candidate will possess:

  • Four-year Accounting college degree
  • 3-5 year of related accounting experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Payroll experience (prior ADP desired)
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to analyze, explain, and draw logical conclusions from complex operational, financial, regulatory and/or business data
  • Experience describing and documenting specific requirements
  • Must be detail oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
  • Ability to focus on multiple priorities while adhering to strict deadlines
