KEY DELIVERABLES

The Key Deliverables for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Accurate and timely processing of payrolls
  • Process all payroll related system functions such as new hires, terminations, rate, deduction, address etc. maintenance in PeopleSoft HR.
  • Verify processed data entry interfaced accurately to ADP EV5.
  • Balance semi-monthly payroll
  • Produce and run ADPR Reports
GENERAL DUTIES

The General Duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Produce manual checks for special payments such as CA terms.
  • Calculate, maintain and process severance payments
  • PA & OH locals (Set-ups and registrations)
  • Excellent people skills, job requires building and maintaining working relationships with HR, Benefits and employees on related questions
  • Process and confirm Benefit Sheets/Manual Adjustments
  • Load 401K Deferral and Loans
  • Review and Load Part-time and Overtime files
  • Send out reminder email regarding PA locals, location code, and address changes to Payroll Administrators
  • Manage storage requests
  • Train administrators
  • Assist the Payroll Supervisor and Manager with projects as needed
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

The Experience and Education qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Prefer 2 - 6 years related experience preparing payrolls
  • Accurate, attentive, detail oriented, with strong analytical skills.
  • Professional and customer-service oriented with the ability to effectively interact with associates, management and Agency personnel.
  • Able to function in a team environment with demonstrated ability in problem solving.
  • Professional telephone etiquette with excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work load in order to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
  • Professional level of confidentiality in handling associate information.
  • College Degree or equivalent combination of experience and instruction
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft HR and ADP EV5. Considerations will be given for related system experience
  • PC literate (Internet, Excel, Word), senior levels required advanced Excel functions.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and rules related to payroll regulations and compliance issues.
  • Federal State and Local tax knowledge and experience
Pay: $34/hour

$70k-$75k when permanent
