Bookkeeper

job summary:
Responsibilities:

  • Provide Bookkeeping services to the firm (internally) and help support external clients
  • Provide Administrative support as needed in addition to preparing firm's invoices
  • Assist in communicating with clients about invoices and supporting documents, inputting information in computer, verifying billing data, and comparing & reviewing invoices
  • Work closely with client/firm on accounting functions including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Provide support for other accounting functions as needed
Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of recent bookkeeping experience
  • Firm understanding of basic accounting rules and concepts
  • Must possess strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel and Word
