Being a leader in their industry for over thirty years, our client has expanded their business throughout New England and has grown tremendously. Based in southeastern Massachusetts, they provide very high quality products and continue to explore new product lines to further diversify. Based on a recent promotion they are seeking an Accounts Payable professional to take over the incumbent's duties. This position will become much more than that, however, and is really geared towards someone who enjoys the Accounts Payable function but wants more for their career. The possibility to grow into a broader accounting position is very real!
Your duties will entail handling vendor issues, maintaining adherence to company policies, overseeing expense account analysis, and account reconciliations, and working closely with purchasing and warehouse personnel.
To be considered for this role, you are required to possess at least a year of accounts payable experience with a strong preference being given to those who currently work in a manufacturing environment. You should also be familiar with general ledger account reconciliations and have a proactive versus a reactive work attitude.
The hourly pay rate for this role equates to between $17.00 and $19.00 per hour, and our client offers a benefit package the includes health care, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, profit sharing, 401k, etc.
