We have partnered with top tier commercial property management company who is seeking a seasoned Property Accountant to join their team! If you are accountant who has a thorough understanding of accounting cycle for property management, read on.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a Property Accountant, your day to day job responsibilities will include

  • Reconciliations, projections, funding requests, cash flow reports
  • Review and approve Yardi PayScan Invoice Registers and Positive Pay exceptions
  • Month-end close
  • Balance Sheet Review and Income Statement Review
  • Loan payments, loan schedule, escrow cash, escrow reconciliations, inquiries and escrow release requests
  • Real estate tax consultant payments and allocations
  • Deferred Loan Cost Amortization
  • Expense analysis
The qualified Property Accountant will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field of study
  • 3-5 years of real estate accounting with a focus in condominiums
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient in Yardi and Kardin software
  • Advanced Excel (VLookups, pibot tables, SUMIF, ARRAY)
