Billing Specialist

job summary:
A Seattle company is looking for a Billing Specialist to join their team as a temp-to-hire contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full cycle billing and payments process for vendors
  • Manages client eligibility tracking to maximize revenue for documented services provided in network; follow up with internal and subcontracted service providers to resolve issues as appropriate;
  • Coordinates with each vendor (as appropriate) to monitor client documentation and billing record in order to appropriately bill for services;
  • Informs others of billing activities by preparing billing reports; prepares ad hoc reports per managers' request;
  • Completes work in a timely manner;
  • Compiles client and program data to meet reporting and evaluation requirements to assist in developing strategies for program improvement.
  • Ensures that full cycle billing is efficiently adhered to; including managing payables when applicable
Qualificational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:

  • Two to five years of experience in a related field. It is recommended that the candidate has both education and established professional experience.
  • Proficient in utilizing excel in order to maintaining appropriate A/R and A/P records;
