Randstad Professionals is presently conducting a direct hire search for a (Commodities Trade) Financial Analyst for their well-established manufacturing client in Los Angeles. This is a newly created role that will be reporting directly to the Corporate Controller.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Track and monitor activities for Traders
- Analyze and determine cost of trade activities
- Forecast vs. actual analysis
- Analyze areas of opportunity for automation, eliminate redundancies and coordinating information requests
- Develop database and dashboards for capturing market data
- Generate reports for competitive comparison
- Help oversee general accounting including cost accounting
- Other special projects as assigned
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 + years of relative experience in financial analysis, advanced MS Excel experience, possess the ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and adjust well to change. Other requirements include:
*Bachelor's Degree, Accounting, Finance or related field
*Commodities experience preferred but not requried
*Top-Notch Excel skills required
