job summary:
  • Partner with senior management to develop recruitment strategy including building pipelines for current and future needs
  • Conduct regular business partner meetings to educate on recruiting best practices and market data, including execution of recruiting processes and tools
  • Manage offer process to include salary recommendations, offer letter generation, and offer acceptance/turn downs, in addition to partnering with relevant business partners on all negotiations
  • Maintain data integrity within applicant tracking system
  • Responsible for interview scheduling and logistics
  • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to easily identify and source qualified talent through a variety of channels including internet, social networking sites, networking, cold calling, referrals, job fairs, etc.; initiate contact with possible qualified talent for specific positions via direct sourcing
What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • 7 years of experience with full life cycle recruiting
  • 5 years of experience working with a leading applicant tracking system
It'd be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the transportation/logistics/freight brokerage industry
  • Search firm experience coupled with recruitment experience in freight brokerage corporate environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced internet searching, candidate research, and cold calling
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage customer relationships, provide strong customer service skills, and work in a large, team environment
  • Demonstrated confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business partners; ability to maintain professionalism and focus in an ambiguous environment
  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
  • Proven organization skills with ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands
