Business Initiatives Consultant

job summary:
Responsible for leading cross functional/virtual teams to strategize, plan and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives that are larger in scope and complexity. Examples might include, but are not limited to: finance / operational / executive management review coordination, process improvement and redesign, change management initiatives, ongoing oversight of a leadership / diversity / recognition / Q12 or general program oversight. Provides leadership to other consultants and analysts in the integration/implementation of programs/services/initiatives with cross functional business partners, recognizing the significance of competing priorities and strategies, and adjusting as necessary. Develops metrics and tracks/evaluates performance of programs, services and initiatives. Ensures plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations. May manage a small team. 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning.

- Partner with Wholesale businesses using a consultative approach to implement Wholesale complaint program - Partner with the Enterprise Complaint Management Office to align the Wholesale complaint program to the Enterprise Target Operating Model and timelines. - Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business stakeholders supporting complaints management - Results oriented and resourceful leader, capable of quickly taking control of responsibilities and establishing oneself as a credible strategic partner - Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals to enroll stakeholders, peers, and management - Ability to identify inefficiencies, opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement change - Experience leading in a matrix environment - Highly motivated self-starter able to be successful in a working environment that requires flexibility and independence with ambiguous situations and constant change to achieve desired outcome/objectives - Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner - Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment - Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels - Ability to work across multiple lines of business leading large scale initiatives - Strong strategic planning skills - Ability to positively influence, motivate, and direct diverse teams - Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives - Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders - Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
