Are you a detail oriented Payroll professional, looking to start in a new opportunity immediately? Randstad Professionals is working with a New York City-based company that is looking to bring in a confident, skilled Payroll Specialist to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate bi-weekly payrolls for 400+ full and part time employees.
  • Data Entry of time cards - including overtime and shift differentials
  • Collect, review, and process timesheets, obtain approvals from managers, follow up on missing timesheets
  • Reconcile monthly benefits and insurance deductions to monthly statements
  • Process and pay any applicable federal, state, and local payroll-related taxes
  • Perform internal payroll and benefits audits, ensuring YTD totals are accurate
  • Process changes such as 403(b) deductions, relocations, severances, etc.
  • Communicate with employees regarding payroll discrepancies
  • Assist the Finance and Accounting teams as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related major
  • 2-5 years of full cycle payroll experience
  • Experience processing payroll for a volume of 400+ employees biweekly
  • Master Excel Skills (V Lookups are required)
  • Experience with payroll systems (Ultipro, ADP, Kronos, Paychex, JD Edwards, etc.)
