Talent Acquisition Coordinator

job summary:
I am currently seeking a dynamic and process driven Talent Acquisition Coordinator for an immediate 12 month assignment with my client, a large Financial Services company. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support a team of recruiters by scheduling interviews and initiating the on boarding process, Need to have supported recruiters or HR in the past. Assignment could be extended to 18 months.

We are looking for candidates that have a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 2 years either agency coordination or corporate coordinator SUPPORT experience. Ideal candidate will have either staffing industry, HR or Administrative experience with a stable work history.

This is not a full-cycle recruiting role. We are NOT looking for Recruiters or HR Managers. We are looking for candidates that have been in a HR or Recruiting SUPPORT role. MUST be eager to learn and grow in Talent Acquisition.

MUST be okay with occasionally traveling between the Los Angeles office and Irvine office.

responsibilities:
  • 85-90% interview scheduling, including phone, in-person, video/webcam interviews, travel coordination, and other related logistics.
  • Respond to recruiters, candidates, and hiring managers regarding field Talent Acquisition and HR-related inquiries.
  • Utilize applicant tracking system to update candidate statuses and candidate communication.
  • Initiate pre-employment screening and references through a 3rd party vendor.
  • Partner with recruiters, hiring manager and HR to ensure positive transition from candidate to new hire onboarding. Send new hire paperwork to candidate and HR business partner before given start date.
  • MUST be okay with occasionally traveling between the Los Angeles office and Irvine office.
 
qualifications:
Skills and knowledge:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • MUST have a bachelors degree
  • MUST have corporate experience as well as job stability unless listed as contract positions on the resumes.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests
  • Problem solving, critical thinking, and time management
  • MUST be okay with occasionally traveling between the Los Angeles office and Irvine office.
Need to have supported recruiters or HR in the past. Candidates need to have been in a HR or Recruiting support role in the past. Be eager to learn and excited to grow in Talent Acquisition.
