Are you looking for an exciting position with a great company? Randstad is looking for a hard-working Human Resources Assistant to work with one of our top clients!

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts New Hire Events (NHE) including: Greeter, Welcome Event Presenter, Candidate Care Specialist, Computer Assistance, Badge Photo, and/or Drug Test Administrator
  • Supports candidate activity to ensure all electronic paperwork is completed on time
  • Submitting Trouble Tickets to ensure events details are accurate and delivered timely for candidates that are attending NHEs
  • Guides applicants through the hiring process in accordance with Company's policies and procedures
  • Consults with applicants on the best match for their desired position and available opportunity in Node
  • Resolves Company Candidate Connection Services (ACCS) tickets by calling candidates identifying issues, offering to reschedule them, or assisting candidates who are having virtual new hire orientation technology issues, or offering assistance with any other concerns
  • Understands Company planning cycles and modeling resources
  • Communicates opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
Qualifications:

  • Ability to present presentations to new hires and potential candidates.
  • Strong willingness to forge new relationships with leaders in the community and build on existing relationships,deliver results on labor order needs and site planning.
  • Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required.

STORY BEHIND THE NEED

- Can you give me a quick overview of what your team does, and why you're looking to bring on a Temp? (Cover LOA, increased workload, new project, etc.)

o Team based out of Phoenix Arizona, and this team will be in Tucson and needs additional support onsite

- Are there any key projects or initiatives your group is working on that might be helpful to mention?

o Help with new building in Tucson - new hire orientations, starting drug tests, facilitating I9s, answer basic questions, etc. - a lot of face-to-face interaction

- Once we get going on this, what are the things that are most important to you - is it finding all the right skills, sticking to a budget or timeline, or something else along those lines?

o Skills and timeline (ASAP)TYPICAL DAY IN THE ROLE

- What's the timeline in terms of start and end date?

o ASAP - 3 months

- Will this person be working standard core hours (8-5, 9-6 etc.) throughout the assignment?

o Tuesday-Saturday

o May have some variation on schedules, but managers will be flexible / accommodating

o 9-5:30pm

- For the right person, is there any chance for flexibility on the schedule or the option to work remotely?

o Onsite every day

- Can you describe their level of interaction with you and others on the team?

o Will have a couple of team members with them every day on-site

REQUIRED SKILLS

Ability to present presentations to new hires and potential candidates. Strong willingness to forge new relationships with leaders in the community and build on existing relationships, deliver results on labor order needs and site planning. Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Willing to travel to multiple events in the Tucson Metro area. Open to new challenges and have a willingness to learn and be curious.
