Lead Pricing Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assumes responsibility for the preparation of a fully compliant and competitive cost and pricing volume, establishing and coordinating schedules, cost/price model development, and cost narrative.
Interfaces with the capture manager, proposal writers and technical personnel in the preparation of the cost proposal.
Utilizes overall knowledge of company bid-rate structure to complete assignments within extremely tight and strict proposal schedules.
Analyzes estimates of complex labor, material, equipment, and other direct costs.
Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.
Develops and communicates the strategic, financial, and administrative implications of proposed and/or implemented pricing policy.
Recommends positions for pricing and reimbursement strategies for current and future products across all relevant customer and market segments.
May review customer awards to determine competitive pricing.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant regulations, laws and best practices.
Provides guidance to less experienced Pricing Analysts.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus at least 5 years of directly related experience in pricing/proposal development or a Master's degree and three years of experience.
In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of the FAR, DFAR & CAS.
Working knowledge of all types of contracts (T&M, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, FFP) and cost/price analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
