Events and Communications Manager"

The Open Source Programs Office exists to help company her Bets safely use and efficiently release open source code and to support the sustainability of the open source community. Within this division, the Outreach team supports open source projects by sponsoring events and organizations. Plus, our team promotes our open source efforts, partnerships, and event participation through online communications.

We seek a candidate who can support both event and communications fulfillment. This candidate should have experience managing online communications via social channels, blog, and newsletter by sourcing, curating, and trafficking content using our processes as well as writing original content.

Additionally, this candidate should have experience with event operations and logistics. This includes managing contracts, POs, and budgets as well as fulfilling event sponsorship and organization membership benefits.

Overall, this candidate is a team player with great written and verbal communication skills. They have great attention to detail, can multi-task and meet deadlines.
