Financial Analyst

job summary:
Description:

Positions in this function process pharmaceutical rebates based on contract terms established and maintained in rebate billing system and monthly drug utilization reports.

Specific Duties:

1. Process monthly rebate billings, drive collections of these invoices, and apply cash collected.

2. Verify rebate eligibility by client formulary and line of business.

3. Run and audit rebate billing reports and submit invoices to pharmaceutical manufacturers.

4. Process incoming rebates, reconcile payments against billing invoice, resolve discrepancies and allocate rebates to clients.

5. Interprets and redlines rebate agreements prior to implementation and coding/loading to rebate billing system.

6. Identify system issues, enhancements and required testing for the rebate billing system.

7. Works with Industry Relations, Client Management, Clinical Services and assigned Pharmaceutical Manufacturers to identify rebate eligibility and formulary information.

8. Works with Rebate Accounting to identify issues related to payment collection and reconciliation.

1. Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise.

2. Investigates non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others.

3. Works exclusively within a specific knowledge area.

4. Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines.

Must have qualifications/experience:

1. High-school degree or equivalent

2. PBM experience desired

Shift Start/End Time:

8am - 4:30pm PST

Dress Code:

Business casual

Activities include coordinating the delivery of multiple projects, developing cost benefit analysis for the program, communicating to an executive committee, creating and reporting program status utilizing a dashboard, allocating resources across the multiple projects, defining project governance policies and managing the financial concerns of the program. Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties
