Procurement Manager

job summary:
A local Manufacturing Company in Fairfield County is seeking an interim Procurement Manager to join their team for an extended project. This engagement does have the ability to become permanent! The Procurement Manager will be a key driver of efficiency and implement processes that maximize resource allocation. The Procurement Manager will be partnering with the Project Manager to take ownership of a high profile project!

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and managing a complex spreadsheet of visual components for a large high profile project.
  • Manage over 1,000 components that are needed to be in hour prior to production.
  • Understand and keep up with new trends and regulations in the business.
  • Manage workflow from initiation to completion.
  • Oversee supply needs; approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
  • Accurately track and report key functional metrics.
  • 5-7 years of experience previously as a Procurement Manager.
  • B.S. in Supply Chain Management, logistics, MBA preferred.
