Billing Manager

job summary:
Publicly traded corporation with offices in Jupiter is looking for an additional Billing Manager to add to their growing team.

This position is responsible for producing valid and accurate invoices to customers.

responsibilities:
  • Assure compliance to specialized billing requirements (including customer A/P portals, PO's, etc.)
  • Lead the invoice and distribution process
  • Assure timely contract/client onboarding in PeopleSoft ERP system with focus on timely and expeditious delivery of invoices
  • Coordinate with Senior Manager and IT for custom electronic billing solutions
  • Liaison with customer and account management to resolve any billing disputes
  • Respond to and resolve any customer care requests
  • Escalate unresolved client issues to account leadership on a timely basis for dispute resolution
  • Supervision of billing staff
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field
  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing a centralized billing function
  • Work experience to include demonstration of each of the following:
  • Ability to coordinate large scale special billing efforts
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of business and foster an open and productive business partnership with internal and external customers
  • Proven leadership in a management capacity
  • Review service requests and invoice requirements and assure they are in compliance with the contract and current G4S standard
  • Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes
  • Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
  • Special program/billing planning and implementation
  • Develop and utilize computer reports and output
  • Selection and placement of direct reports, career development as well as develop performance improvement plans as needed
