The Controller directs the financial affairs of the organization and prepares financial analysis of operations, including interim and final statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management.
The Controller is also responsible for the company's accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, the preparation of financial reports and interfacing with the Board of Directors, donors and our sophisticated investor base on financial issues.
The Controller reports directly to the CFO and will supervise general accounting, property accounting, construction accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting and budgetary controls.
The ideal Controller for this opportunity will have some experience in home-building or development of some kind and have a CPA.
Affordable housing experience would be a huge plus!
