Job Description:

This position is with the Global Custody Department in the Trade Settlements. A typical day in the area would consist of pulling reports, manually cross-checking reports, keying information, moving cash, reconciling, balancing, and researching of trades.

Position Overview:

This position is in Trust Operations, Global Custody. Basic responsibilities will include: processing a very high volume of security transactions for internationally held securities (entering the information into the system), including: foreign trades, foreign exchanges, corporate actions and income to client accounts.

Other responsibilities include researching/monitoring of potential and failing trades, report research and documentation, and daily cash movements. May revise and implement policies and procedures. This position works under minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Banking/Investment Operations experience or Accounting Background
  • Banking or Financial Services experience
  • 2+ years of work experience
  • Knowledge of in-house computer systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently yet take direction
  • STRONG ATTENTION to detail
  • Good documentation skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Proven problem solving and strong organization skills
  • Ability to identify and escalate risk issues
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to meet sensitive deadlines
  • Ability to work independently yet within a team environment
Preferred Skills:

Previous experience in the securities industry, Trust Operations experience and strong computer skills including MS Office and Access. SEI experience, knowledge of Trusts, Trust Operations. 4-year college level course of study in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
