Our client in the service sector is seeking a Senior Accountant in a highly visible role. This person will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions including month end close, payroll and updating policies and procedures. The Senior Accountant will also oversee one Staff Accountant.

-Provide accounting and analytical support to GMs and Directors of Ops
-Lead Month End Close, including posting journal entries, reporting and variance analysis
-Process and report payroll for Full Service Restaurants and the Home Office
-Communicates with Controller and makes recommendations regarding reporting and accounting operations. Ensures compliance to standards and policies
-Maintain weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reporting; be detail oriented and have the ability to review and maintain multiple P&L Statements and Balance Sheet schedules
-Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred
-2-4 years' experience
-Restaurant/hospitality/retail experience preferred
-Work well with all kinds of people
-Become a trusted business partner to Operations
-Must have a passion for accounting and hospitality and have a desire to make an impact and grow.
