Position Description

Public Relations Campaign Manager

The client's one of the segment team gives nonprofits nearly $1B a year in free ad credits - and no one really knows it. We are kicking off a rebranding campaign and initiatives to earn good PR, both inside and beyond the nonprofit sector.

We are seeking a Public Relations Campaign Manager to run point on this initiative. You will evaluate our current brand positioning, relate our unique role in client's larger social impact themes, and assess the demand in relevant sector publications. With this information, you will test narratives in focus groups, develop our narrative, and design multiple pieces of collateral and project briefs for marketing agencies. You may manage a website redesign and may even pitch to sector-specific news outlets.

Responsibilities:

- Design a compelling narrative and accompanying collateral

- Design a comms strategy, creative briefs, and brand guidelines

- Develop case studies and organize them thematically into larger stories

- Pitch / respond to requests with internal teams like PR, Public Policy, and company for Nonprofits

- Write internal short comms promoting the program

- Manage a marketing agency's work

- Update web content

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory

3+ years in communications strategy - Excellent written communication skills, especially in designing presentations - Ability to think, plan and execute resourcefully while keeping an eye on the details - Understanding of online ads and social media - Deadline-oriented, curious, and enthusiastic learner, Please include portfolio/work of external publishing

Desired- Google Ads certification - Experience working with influencers, managing of company's social media account
