A rapidly growing Shelton area manufacturing and distribution company has a newly created position for an Inventory Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree or equivalent years of experience and 2-4 years of inventory or purchasing experience. Company offers an excellent benefit package!

responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and analyzing inventory levels
  • Monthly and yearly inventory reconciliations
  • Maintain customer demand driven forecasting
  • Prepare information on various product lines
  • Develop inventory summary reports
  • Analyze demand in order to to produce appropriate reorder quantities
  • Partner with vendors
  • Additional projects as needed
 
qualifications:
  • BS Degree
  • 2-4 years of experience with inventory or purchasing
  • Experience in a purchasing or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and a heavy work volume in a high-energy, fast-paced work environment
