Large local company in north Phoenix is seeking an HR professional with 5+ years of HR experience and a knack for employee relations. If you enjoy building strong relationships, don't mind occasional travel, and enjoy being the face of an organization this could be the right opportunity for you.

responsibilities:
You would work under the direct supervision of the Director of HR and would be joining a HR/talent acquisition team of 6. You would serve as the key point of contact in supporting HR initiatives as a core HR team member. Duties and responsibilities would include:

Assist in conducting new hire and new leader orientation and onboarding

Oversee informations systems related to performance management

Participate in the development, implementation,and maintenance of policies and procedures.

Analyze metrics, data, and root-causes in developing recommendations for business improvements.

Offer strong knowledge in employment law, unemployment claims, participate in hearings as appropriate.

Manage and maintain related HR databases, and other relevant software.

Foster positive and inclusive work environment and partner with leadership to optimize employee experience.

 
qualifications:
Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; 5 years' experience in HR, including as an HR business partner supporting employee relations; or the equivalent combination of training, education, and related experience. Preference given to candidates who have obtained a professional HR certification from a nationally-recognized industry association.

Outstanding skills in consulting, coaching, facilitation, and collaboration, with all levels of an organization.

Advanced knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and practices.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal, organizational, and planning/implementation skills.

Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgement that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or law.

Proficiency with talent and/or performance management software.
